From the Designer

My passion for designing fine jewelry begins with me searching the world, dealing with United Nations of gem dealers, hunting for rare and exquisite gemstones. I’ ve been lucky to use my gemological expertise over 4 decades in pursuit of these natural beauties. I will then spends days, weeks or months searching for the right inspiration to begin the actual design process. It’s always a motivation for me creatively knowing how much meaning this piece of jewelry will bring; perhaps it represents a "gift of love" to a significant other. Quite possibly, the purchaser is rewarding themselves for a life affirming accomplishment. Each and every design will be certain to be cherished forever.

My inspiration for some of my creations derives where I grew up in Los Angeles. Having watched countless films where iconic actresses were seen wearing exquisite jewelry pieces in the old movies of Hollywood, my fascination grew into my passion. That period, referred to as retro-modern, is my favorite. Gorgeous gemstones and diamonds were set in rich, bold designs in stunning yellow or rose gold. My creations are also inspired by other design eras from Victorian, Art Nouveau, and Art Deco periods.
